Every time I thought Stanley had settled into one idea, he transitioned into something completely different. The groove, control, musicality, left-hand work and creativity behind this setup were ridiculous. I also had a full-circle moment during this reaction. Years ago, I watched Stevie Wonder perform while I was still in high school, and I recently realized Stanley Randolph was the drummer I was watching behind the kit back then.
