Grace Shall Be As Your Day (Official Lyric Video) – Tim Garthw8

"Grace Shall Be As Your Day" — official lyric video by Tim Garthw8, from the album "From Iowa to Glory." LYRICS: April rain in Locust Creek, mud up to our knees Iowa wind in our canvas, shaking through the trees Word came from Nauvoo, my baby's born and well In this cold wilderness, I have a song to tell Come, come ye saints, no toll, no labor fear We leave it all behind, but joy will find us here Though hard to you this journey may appear Grace shall be as your day Gird up your loins on each fresh courage day Our God will never us forsake We left our homes and hearts, we buried by the way But morning breaks in Iowa, still we rise to pray Why should we mourn the loss of house or home? We still have hope and that is all Come, come ye saints, no toll, no labor fear But with joy come when your way Though hard to you this journey may appear Grace shall be as your day Should we die before our journey's through Happy day, all is well We fought for light, we bore it through And all, and all is well You who wander now through your own locust creek Tired heart, worn hands with no word to speak This Iowa hymn was written in the rain for you What broke you down is what will carry you through Come, come ye saints, no toll, no labor fear Lift your eyes, your home is near Though hard to you this journey may appear Grace shall be as your day All is well, all is well At locust creek, all is well Written by Timothy Garthwaite. © 2026 Timothy Garthwaite.
