I Used AI to Turn 3 Floor Plans Into 3D Homes — Here’s What Broke

Three original floor plans, one local AI model, and a reality check in Blender. The raw answers invented courtyards and missed an entrance. This experiment shows the source dimensions, the mistakes, the targeted repairs, and the corrected 3D study models. This is an AI-assisted layout and visualization experiment using written metric specifications. It does not test scanned-plan recognition or benchmark a paid frontier model. Gemma4:e4b returned the room/opening data; checked coordinates were used by an AI-assisted Blender geometry script. The rendered camera paths, furniture blockouts, diagrams, and narration were created for this episode. The roofless models are simplified study models.
