My First Time With a MIDI Keyboard in Ableton: Learning Music Production, Video 1

Day 1 of learning music production from scratch. It's 11 PM, I've been working all day, and I finally try my MIDI keyboard in Ableton. I don't know where C is, why Serum makes no sound, or how to stop it once it starts. This is what the first hour actually looks like. 0:00 Intro: learning MIDI in Ableton 0:15 Finding C on the keyboard (with tape) 1:11 Loading Serum 5:18 MPE mode and getting sound out of Serum 7:36 Trying to make my first bassline 9:37 Setting up at the laptop Everybody starts somewhere. If you've been through this, let me know what helped you in the comments. ABOUT ME I'm DJ MAHA, a DJ from Norway. I'm early in my journey behind the decks, and now I'm learning to produce my own music. This channel is where I share what I learn along the way. #ableton #musicproduction #midikeyboard #learningmusicproduction #djmaha #vlog
