I may never buy another store bought broadhead target again! In this video, I show you how I built a cheap DIY broadhead archery target using a bucket, a feed sack, duct tape, and rubber mulch nuggets. This homemade target is extremely simple to build, costs a fraction of what a good commercial broadhead target costs, and should last for years with proper maintenance. I do a lot of broadhead shooting throughout bow season, and I've destroyed plenty of commercial foam, block, and 3D targets. The biggest problem is that broadheads eventually tear them up. This homemade broadhead target is designed to take thousands of broadhead shots and can be easily repaired by adding more rubber mulch and patching the cover with duct tape. I'll also test the finished target with a 51 pound traditional bow, a heavy carbon arrow, a 100 grain brass insert, and a two blade broadhead to see how well it stops the arrow. If you're looking for a cheap broadhead target, DIY archery target, homemade broadhead target, traditional archery target, or a target that can handle lots of broadhead practice, this may be worth trying.
