What Can A £410,000-£600,000 Budget Score In London 2014? | Location, Location, Location

Phil and Kirstie hit the capital this week, helping a young family and a pair of first time buyers get their slice of the London property pie. Phil is searching with Jo and Pete; a couple who are looking to buy their first place together. They love the areas of Archway and Holloway, but are struggling to find their perfect pad here for their £410,000. Jo has multiple sclerosis which means their search comes with a very specific and non-negotiable set of criteria. But, this positive couple won’t let anything get in the way of realising their dream. It’s down to Phil to tackle the tricky London market and help them achieve their goal. Whilst in West Hampstead, Kirstie has a very prescriptive search area in which to find Tham and Krish, and their baby daughter, a family home. They are all about school catchment areas, which gives Kirstie a quarter of a mile radius in which to search. But their healthy £600,000 budget doesn’t go far in this pricey patch of North London and these guys know exactly what they want and where they want it. It takes all of Kirstie’s property know-how to come up with a home that could meet the needs of this family. Season 16 Episode 10, February 2014. Information correct at time of recording.
