Robert Sieving’s adaptation of Tosti’s Italian art song, Van gli effluvi de le rose, presented an exciting foreign-language challenge for Harmonics. The romantic text by the famous poet Gabriele D'Annunzio was tough to memorize, but so worth it! Harmonics enjoyed leaning into the expression of the text through its flowing, lyrical lines.
