Delhi to Shimla Bike Ride – Episode 2 🏔️🏍️ The wait is finally over… we reached Shimla! ❤️ In Episode 1, our Delhi to Shimla bike ride ended with just 26 KM left to reach Shimla. In this episode, the journey continues as the three of us riders finally make our way into Shimla. And Shimla welcomed us with rain! 🌧️ We take shelter at the bus stand for a while, then search for a hotel, check into our room and finally get some rest after the ride. In the evening, around 7–7:30 PM, we head out to explore Shimla Mall Road — checking out the market, taking photos and, most importantly… FOOD! 😋 We tried: 🥟 Momos 🥟 Samosa 🍛 A simple thali ☕ And some local Shimla food along the way The next morning, we get up, clean our bikes and head out to explore Shimla on two wheels. Our next stop is Jakhu Temple, one of Shimla's most famous landmarks, located on Jakhu Hill. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and is home to the famous 108-foot Hanuman statue. The views from Jakhu were incredible — especially with the clouds and mountains all around us. 🏔️☁️ And then we discovered something even better… A local Bhandara/community meal, where we got some seriously good food. Honestly, the simple food there felt even better than many restaurant meals! ❤️ This episode is all about reaching Shimla, exploring the city, eating good food, riding through the mountains and enjoying the journey with three riders.
