2,050 RPM! Testing the Full Power of a Rebuilt Engine

After several days of hard work, our boat engine is finally ready for its first full test. The mechanics worked late into the night to finish the repairs and carefully put everything back together. This morning, my husband and I prepared some simple noodles with eggs before heading out to test the engine. Because there were many boats along the small river, we decided to take the boat about 3 kilometers out to the larger Cai River. The water was very high, and we had to carefully pass under several bridges. Before testing, my husband also went down to remove the trash caught around the propeller. Once we reached the open river, we slowly increased the throttle and tested the engine at different speeds. The white smoke was completely gone, and the engine ran much smoother. After warming up, it reached about 2,050 RPM. We are very happy with the result and grateful to the mechanic for his dedication. #MekongRiver #BoatLife #EngineRepair #Vietnam
