I've been slowly working through the four films that they acted in together and this one was just great. I loved it. It's got political intrigue, sharp dialogue, some tough guy fights, a little romance and all that great stuff I love from old crime films of this era. Based on Dashiell Hammett's novel, the Glass Key was a brilliant film and I'll give an overview of story, spoiler free, and then offer some closing thoughts and analysis.
