How I Built a 70 Win Streak & The Common Mistake That Ended It | Nightreign

This pathing mistake is a really common mistake that I make in roughly 1/50 games and some of it in my last video. I see it in Depth 5 besides me as well. I failed to account for my teammate's current relics and items due to a disconnect, and lost the streak. It’s very common at lower Depths and the mean trigger for quitterst. I've also seen people asking for help on Reddit about it recently. The better decision is to kill the other dormant powers at the castle which are much easier to fight than a Blood Revenant at that level/current items. Easy castle dormant powers/chests can done at level 3-5 like in my other videos. We would be at least 7, use purple items, have HP and be fine on Tibia Mariner. No matter what relics your trio has- what will actually make a run easier or harder- is how good the pathing/expedition was. The rest depends on knowing every specific boss mechanic to save a run. That doesn’t mean being perfect at dodging them all the time either at Depth 5 if someone or you has damage negation, vigor, damage negation passives. Just remember that if you go glass cannon, you are accepting that you put your life/run at the mercy of whoever has enough negation to revive you, like some did when they saw I picked Wylder. Many stuck players don’t think about: 1. How important having a smooth expeditrion is. Getting more loot will make a lot of Depth 5 runs look easy. Being lvl 10 with a bunch of items, fighting the Runebears is easier than being lvl 7 with some damage-ups from relics or Evergaols Day 1. 2. Circle timings (how long your team spent in the circle already, before taking another fight) 3. Accounting for your teammates current capabilities/items and what fights to take. 4. How to recover from a bad start (disconnect/reconnect). I make the pathing mistake here, but maybe it’s cinema that it ended this way.. After 70 runs, I slip up and make the wrong calculation. Too often do players think damage and relics are holding them back, but I only recommend one Relic effect which doesn’t directly give you damage. It helps a ton with getting loot/passives and speeding up the expedition. You can win without it, but the pace of the run completely different without it. I always feel naked / slower without everyone having their ult up, which you can also see in the loss. Analyzing my runs and focusing on my own performance for future runs is how I climbed out of Depth 4 months ago with randoms. Despite falling from Depth 5, 3 times before reaching 9999. Even though I saw how the other randoms could improve, the focus is still gonna be on me for next time.
