Bass Agenda 235: Electro: The Next Generation and Nexus 23 Tribute

This week we begin with shining the spotlight on nine artists at various stages of relative newness in terms of making and releasing Electro. Curated mostly by Ben Evans aka The Droid from Cyberdomain we hear a little from each artist - about themselves and their music. Each artist has been asked to choose two tracks - one of their own and one that inspired them to make music. This is the second show of this kind we've done and can't wait for you to hear the high standard of music we've got in store. The full title of the episode is Electro: The Next Generation - United in Sound. Why 'United in Sound'? Because, with world events and the general proliferation of negativity coming from all sides, it’s good to remember the Electro Community is out there, regardless of borders, genders and race, focussing on expression and connecting people through something positive. In the second part of the show, I'll be previewing a few tracks from "Electro Heaven - A Tribute to Joe Black aka Nexus 23" on Borg Recordings. This is a brilliant compilation curated by Sky Borg and Kim Cosmik, mastered by Syrte and dedicated to the memory of Joe Black aka Nexus who passed away at just 39 years old in August. Joe released music first on Borg and went on to release on other labels including Bass Agenda Recordings and Serotonin. What better way to say goodbye than at high volume with the bass up?
