Ricky Skaggs' Iconic "Old Home Place" Break

In this video, I discuss how I interpret Ricky Skaggs' iconic Old Home Place break that was recorded in 1975 on 0044 by JD Crowe and the New South, arguably one of the most important albums for the modern bluegrass music industry. I think Ricky's mandolin playing on that album was instrumental into what would become modern mandolin playing, influencing pickers like Dan Tyminski, Jesse Brock, and many more.
