Spokane River Cruise and River Music Event

My sister in law took me out for a day cruising with her and her friends up the Spokane River to Coeur d'Alene lake on a pontoon boat. A scenic ride up the river you can see the homes along the river. This area of rhe river used to be a logging area, where timber logs were floated as far away as Kellogg, Idaho into the lake and down the river to a logging mill. You can still see some of the old log pillars along the shoreline. While you are not supposed to ski, wake board etc.. in this area of the river, you do see it happening. Be aware it's not safe to do so, there is heavy boat traffic and some of those wooden pillars do remain and some can't be seen under the water line. After a day on the river and lake, we enjoyed an evening of music and fun at the Festival days near the Spokane Dam. #nationalparksprincess #rivercruise #music #summertime #fun
