7 Mistakes EVERYONE Makes Sleeping in Their Van on Freezing Nights

Eleven winters living in my van with no heater, and my very first night I made all seven of these mistakes at once. Here's what keeps people cold in a van at night, what I do instead, and the two dollar trick that keeps my feet warm when it's ten below. Never run your engine or any fuel-burning heater while you sleep, and keep a carbon monoxide alarm in your vehicle. If you can't stop shivering, get somewhere warm. Call 211 to find the nearest warming center. Subscribe if you sleep in a vehicle or think you might someday. Stay warm, stay legal, and I'll see you down the road. #VanLife #WinterVanLife #CarCamping #WinterCamping #LivingInMyCar #VanDweller #ColdWeatherCamping #StealthCamping #NomadLife #CheapLiving
