JESUS CHASED AFTER ME I was troubled and down Full of worries and doubts Made mistakes in my past Unforgiveable, put me last Who’ll rescue me from this loneliness? Who can love me nonetheless? Who can understand the depths of my pain? Who can free me from this chain? Thought I’ve gone too far now Too distant for you to come Yet your love never let me go Grace chase after me, O Lord When I don’t know where to run Friends were nowhere to be found In your presence,knees on ground I find shelter, and peace abounds Oh I have tried all the ways of man But no solution’s better than You can My God, whom I can truly depend My constant help, My one True friend When I’m weak, grace’s enough for me When I’m lost, You left the 99 for me When I fail, how can you still love me?
