Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office launches real-time crime alert system for 300+ houses of worship

Houses of worship across Palm Beach County will have a new security tool starting Wednesday — an instant alert system that notifies faith leaders the moment one of 40 different crimes is reported within a half mile of their location. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office House of Worship (HOW) initiative is designed to give churches, synagogues, mosques and other faith communities an early warning when danger is nearby.
