SUNDAY SCHOOL - #SUNDAY_4_OCTOBER_2026 #BELIEVE_IN_GOD'S #PROMISES #Exodus14:10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. And Moses said unto the people, #Fear_ye_not, stand still, and #see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.[kjv] As Moses led the Israelites through the wilderness, they reached a point where they seemed to have nowhere to go. Before them was the Red Sea, blocking their way forward, while behind them, the Egyptians were advancing in pursuit. Humanly speaking, they were trapped, with no visible way of escape. Yet, in that moment of fear and uncertainty, Moses reminded them to stand firm and trust in the promises of God. What appeared to be the end of their journey became an opportunity for God to #demonstrate His mighty power by making a way through the sea. The promises of God are abundant as by the teachings by #Pastor_Franco_Mwamuye, and His Word calls us to believe even when our circumstances seem impossible. Sometimes we find ourselves standing before our own Red Sea, with challenges behind us and uncertainty ahead of us. However, we must remember that our inability to see a way forward does not mean that God has no way prepared for us. Let us hold firmly to the promises of God, for He is faithful to His Word. Do not allow fear, opposition, or difficult circumstances to weaken your faith. The same God who made a way for the Israelites is able to guide us through the challenges we face according to His will. When there seems to be no way, trust in the One who has power to make a way where there is none. AMEN
