The Farmer & Adele | The PA Died, We Played Anyway | Skinny Dennis, Nashville

Our last full local Nashville show. In July 2026, The Farmer & Adele took the stage at Skinny Dennis in East Nashville for one more hometown performance before heading west. There was just one problem: the PA was already dead when we started. So we kept playing. Here's Tumbling Tumbleweeds... No microphones. No amplification. Just voices, acoustic instruments, and a room full of people listening. For a little while, Skinny Dennis felt less like a Nashville bar and more like a campfire session, with the music carried the old-fashioned way. It was an unexpected way to say goodbye to Nashville, but in some ways, it felt just right. This is music that was being played long before sound systems, and it still works when you strip everything away. Just the sound and voice as they were meant to be heard. A real campfire session.
