Mulan Time Lapse Sketch

This is a sketch of Mulan, one of a couple sketches I'm working on. For those of you who don't know who Mulan is or the story of Mulan, I'll just summarize: a girl takes her father's place in ancient China to fight in war. Here's a wikipedia link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hua_Mulan I'm sketching with ball point pen, Prismacolor Premier colored pencils on a tan colored paper in my Strathmore sketchbook. The Mulan seen in this sketch is not supposed to look like the Disney version. I was going for a romanticized war scene. Maybe in another sketch/comp I'll lean more towards the Disney version. Anyways, enjoy!
