Ecological Park (Parque Ecológico do Funchal) Enduro action! Another leg here on the Freeride Madeira MTB tour. This spot had truly epic riding. Tucked high in the misty mountains above Funchal, the Parque Ecológico do Funchal offers raw, untamed downhill mountain biking that captures the wild heart of Madeira. Dropping into lush laurel forests and carving through natural singletrack laced with roots, loose rock, and flowing levada paths. The descents are long and varied, sometimes fast and open, other times tight and technical. Always with sweeping views and the scent of damp earth in the air.
