Metallica - Fade to Black (Enhanced Bass) (WITH “BASS SOLO”)

Fade to Black by Metallica with Cliff Burton’s bass track from Fortnite Festival and Guitar Hero Metallica added on top of the 2016 remaster. I already did Fade to Black before, but that one strictly used the Guitar Hero stems for all instruments, which made it sound kind of weak because the Guitar Hero mixing sucks and I’m just an amateur doing these for fun. This new one takes the 2016 remaster of the song and adds just the isolated bass on top of it. I’ve been doing my mixes this way recently because the Guitar Hero/Rock Band stems are usually missing a few extra instrument/ vocal layers and the mixing that makes the songs sound how they’re supposed to. Case in point, the fact that the GHM version of this song is completely missing the “bass solo”. Thank God for Fortnite Festival, we otherwise would’ve never even had the isolated track for that missing bass part or even knew it was there in the song. When I add the isolated bass track on top of the official record version of the song and EQ the bass track so it sits better in the mix, I feel like it captures what these songs would really sound like if the bass was mixed the way it should’ve been.
