Chin up girls - Australian War Nurses

The Clarendon Museum is commemorating the heroic contributions nurses have made during times of conflict for Anzac Day 2022. Our latest documentary ‘Chin up girls, Australian War Nurses’ is a 12 minute documentary exploring the amazing work these women did in caring for the wounded. It also features stories or our own local nurses, Sister Lucretia Smart and Sister Nicky Richards. Although the stories of what these women endured can be heartbreaking, it was their ability to remain resolute against the odds, to heal the sick and the wounded, that is truly inspiring.
