This Changed What I Thought Was Possible | Exotek ExoQuad

What happens when you take a wheelchair user off the pavement and give him something built for proper off-road adventure? In this episode of Wheels in the Wild, I get the opportunity to trial the Exotek ExoQuad V1 and see first-hand just what this incredible machine is capable of. As a double amputee and full-time wheelchair user, there are places I simply haven’t been able to reach under my own steam for the last 16 years. The ExoQuad could potentially change that — opening up mountains, trails and terrain that have been out of reach since I was injured in Afghanistan. This wasn’t just about testing a piece of equipment. It was about seeing what might now be possible. I’m currently looking at the newer ExoQuad V2 and exploring whether it could become a major part of the adventures and challenges ahead for Wheels in the Wild.
