Another course frequently brought up by people who have experienced the verisions of Mario 64 affected by the Personalization AI. Gleaming, Glowing Abyss, is a large course taking place in some kind of Aquarium. People describe it as taking place inside a large, dark building, with checkered floors and massive water tanks and elevated walkways. Bioluminescent sea creautres serve as prominant light sources. Most reports describe the stage as not being very difficult, often times being found in a section of the basement themed around the course. (Rarely, it's located on the fourth floor.) The room you acess the stage through resembles the Jolly Roger Bay room from the full release, but being much darker, with more water tanks, resembling the level itself. Instead of jumping into a painting, you enter the course through one of the aquariums. Not much is known about the star missions, but a few reports have been sent in. We have three mission names we have managed to confirm existing in some shape or another: Shining Bright in the Deepest Tank Mario must locate the deepest water tank and find a star at the bottom. Hold Your Breath for 8 Red Coins Typical red coins stage, they're hidden all over the stage. Race to the Eel Tank Mario enters a large water tank where Unagi resides. Mario must race the Eel through a series of tunnels dug under the course, presumably by Unagi himself. When interacted with, Unagi says this: "Uurgh! I hate not being able to move like I'm used to, I sure do miss the ocean. Oh, Plumber Guy! I know we have our differences, but what about a race? I'll even give you this glowing star I found! Please, I feel like I might just snap! We'll do it in the tunnels i've been digging!" (Pelle here! I've been super into by the Mario 64 Personalization craze recently, wanted to do something with it! Here's a stage Idea I came up with. I've watched a lot of ‪@wasteofblood‬ 's videos, as well as playing through B3313 myself and I wanted to see if I could do something similar! Too bad I have no idea how to code, I do what I can I guess. Feel free to give critique as always!"
