In this video, I travel to explore two ancient and lesser-known Khmer temples in *Kampong Leng District, Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia — Prasat Srei (ប្រាសាទស្រី) and Prasat Thnam Pdei (ប្រាសាទថ្នមប្តី).*
*Prasat Srei* is located at Prasat Pagoda in Prasat Village, Da Commune, Kampong Leng District. According to the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Administration, the temple was built around the *9th century* in the *Kampong Preah style* and is believed to have been built by Queen Jayadevi.
*Prasat Thnam Pdei* is located in Chrolong Village, Da Commune, near the foot of Touk Meas Mountain. Archaeological evidence, including its architectural decoration and sandstone elements, suggests that the temple was built around the **10th century in the Preah Rup style**, during the reign of King Rajendravarman. The temple was likely dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu.
These ancient temples are part of the rich historical and cultural heritage of **Kampong Leng**, an area known for its many lesser-known Khmer archaeological sites. In this journey, I explore the temples, their surroundings, and the traces of Cambodia's ancient history that remain today.
