I Built CUSTOM ROAM Box Mounts for My Suburban! | Roof Rack + Swing-Out Setup

The ROAM Adventure Company boxes are awesome… but I wanted to take them a step further. 😎 In this episode of Burban Life, I’m modifying and building custom mounts for my ROAM boxes so I can put them to work on the Suburban in two different locations. One box is getting mounted to the roof rack, while the other is going on the dual swing-out rear bumper. The goal is to create a clean, secure setup that gives me more accessible storage without sacrificing the functionality of the rig. I’ll walk through the modifications, mounting hardware, fitment, and the thought process behind both setups.
