The Crawlers of The Descent are blind, savage predators built for life in complete darkness, and over two decades later, they remain some of horror’s most unsettling creatures. But their anatomy is only part of the story. And you get to see their pale skin and animal-like movements, but what you see was carefully created through practical effects and brought to life by amazingly trained actors. To me, that is just incredible- pure talent. And then there’s the ending, or should I say, endings, because the franchise has never completely agreed on what happened to their most famous survivor.
