PL
I takiem zbladła //

Ah, my mighty God, what have I done?
I lost my wreath before its time,
For a golden coin,
I gave away my virtue
To an ungrateful man.
My sister asked me: “Hannah, what happened?
What did Frank do to you in the stable?”
I drove the oxen away,
The bees stung me,
And I went pale.
My mother asked me, “Hannah, what happened?
What did Frank do to you in the stable?”
I am my mother’s daughter,
I must tell the truth,
This is how it happened
“Leave me, you are not my daughter anymore,
You lost your wreath before it’s time
Leave my house, and don’t tell anyone
That you are my daughter!”
