Hey everyone! This trip came out of nowhere but I ended up in Bangkok for some work commitments. While managing my full-time job, I’m also working as a brand manager for an upcoming café, so things have been a little hectic but super exciting. I can’t wait to share everything with you soon. In today’s vlog, I’ll take you through the little moments from my trip. Honestly, the first day was a struggle.I was so exhausted I found myself praying, “Please, just don’t make me catch another flight anytime soon.” All I wanted was to stay in my room and do absolutely nothing. But, work is work. Day 1: We stayed in a residential area a bit away from the tourist spots, and I surprisingly loved it. It had a calm vibe,kind of like the neighborhoods you see in K-dramas. I was also way too impressed by all the things at 7/11 there. The night went by quickly. Day 2: The next day was packed,we wrapped up all our meetings and work by evening. That night, we checked out some major tourist spots, but to be honest, I realized those places don’t excite me much. I’m definitely more drawn to quieter spots that don’t carry all the hype. After getting back to the room, I stayed up all night figuring out what I really wanted to do next. The only fixed plan in my head was to visit % Arabica Coffee(non-negotiable). Day 3: This one turned out to be both exciting and exhausting. I finally got my hands on an Enhypen album, and it made me so happy! We also hopped around a few cafes and explored ICONSIAM. That pretty much summed up the day. I wanted to visit more cafes in the evening, but most of them close around 5:30 or 6 PM, which was a bummer. So I went for dinner instead and somehow ended up at Khao San Road again. Honestly, I proved myself right,I really dislike that place. It was overcrowded, loud, and chaotic, probably even more intense because of the Pride Month celebrations. I felt super anxious, especially when random locals approached me, so I ran out of there. Luckily, I found a quiet restaurant-café, and with an iced Americano at midnight, I finally felt okay again. Day 4: My last day was the perfect wrap-up.I bought the album I’d been eyeing since day one, visited more cafes, went shopping, and randomly stumbled upon a Thai boy group (that totally made my day). In that moment, I knew one thing for sure: the next time Enhypen or BTS has a concert in Bangkok, I will be there, no matter what. We ended the trip with a cozy dinner and went to bed early for our flight. Day 5: The next morning, I grabbed my last breakfast from 7/11 and soaked in the views on the way to the airport.
