Despite an outpouring of fan support, including a petition and a billboard in Times Square urging the showrunners to keep Monaco on the show, it appears that her exit was final. Kelly's departure comes just four days short of her 21st anniversary on the soap opera. Her character's death is expected to play a significant role in the storyline, potentially involving a liver transplant for the character Lulu Spencer and implicating her mother, Alexis Davis, in a murder case. The overlap of these storylines could result in a dramatic end for Kelly Monaco's character, possibly in a diving accident, and her liver going to save Lulu.
