Benue Police Arrest 46 Over Blockade of Peter Obi’s Convoy

Benue Police Command has confirmed the arrest of 46 suspects accused of disrupting Peter Obi’s convoy during his visit to the state. Police Commissioner Cletus Nwadiogbu says officers arrested the suspects through intelligence-led operations after the convoy was blocked along the Makurdi–Gboko Road. The command says security personnel were deployed after receiving information about Obi’s visit, adding that officers avoided using force to prevent casualties and property damage.
