Naishkarmya Siddhi by Sureshwaracharya with Chandrika Tika by Jnanottama Date: Sep 5, 2026 PDF of the text (Page 117) : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d92L... Key Points: Objection: A sentence is a group of words. If several words refer to the same meaning, it results in repetition (Punarukti doṣa), which is a fault. If Tat and Tvam refer to the same entity, there is repetition. If they refer to different entities, they cannot be Akhāṇḍārtha Bodhaka. Verse 10 (Siddhāntī): When the Tvam-artha has the Tad-artha as its Viśeṣaṇa, the Tad-artha refers to Paramātmā who is never a Duḥkhī. When the Tad-artha has the Tvam-artha as its Viśeṣaṇa, the Tvam-artha refers to the Jīva who is immediate (Pratyak). With this, there is neither repetition nor any obstacle to Akhāṇḍārtha Bodha. Verse 11: Buddhi and Ahaṃkāra are pointers (Upalakṣaṇas) of Ātmā, whose very nature is Permanence (Kūṭasthatva), Consciousness (Bodha), and Immediacy (Pratyaktva).
