Alan Alda Atari Commercials from the Early 80s

In August 1983, Atari announced that Alan Alda, one of the best-liked stars in the entertainment world at the time, had signed to be spokesperson for Atari 8-bit computers for the next five years, representing Atari in TV advertising and public relations capacities. Alda went on to star in several well-received commercials promoting the Atari 8-bit lineup of home computers, peripherals, software, and even a phone system that to my knowledge never actually hit store shelves. A bit of trivia: Alsa starred for several year in the popular comedy series M*A*S*H, which is stil popular in reruns. While Alda hawked Atari computer, most of his fellow M*A*S*H castmates starred in a series of commercials for IBM's PS/2 computer lineup. Im working on finding those commercials and including them in a future video.
