Norway Day 5: Geilo-Göteborg. Driving over mountains and in green valleys. Final day in Norway.

Geilo - Imingfjell - Kongsberg - Sandefjord - Strömstad - Göteborg. What a great final roadtrip day in Norway. It started in alpine town Geilo, then up in the mountains where I reached altiude of 1200 meters. Really beutiful surroundings. It was windy and cold, about 7-8 degrees Celsius in the higher altitudes. After the second mountain pass, I drove down towards a different landscape with green valleys and winding waters, with the warm weather welcoming me. I thought about driving to Rjukan and Gaustatoppen since I was close by, but decided not to because of a ferry to catch in Sandefjord. The ferry crossing over to Strömstad took about 2,5 hours and gave me a well needed rest from driving. From Strömstad to Göteborg, it's all E6 and straight forward. It's not a joyful ride but the weather was great and I was looking forward visiting my friend in Göteborg. The Aprilia Tuono was great touring with. It's not on the comfier side, but comfy enough for 6-8 hours a day in the saddle. If you go travel in Norway, be sure you're not speeding (it can be expensive!) and take your time, enjoy the nature! If I would do this trip again, I'd shorten my rides and I would stop at more lovely places. Thanks for watching, I hope you checked out the previous episodes as well.
