Solemn Mass for the Fourth Sunday in Lent (Laetare)

Solemn Mass for the Fourth Sunday in Lent (Laetare), 22 March 2020, following a much simplified form of our customary. The celebrant is the Rector, the Rev’d Dr Andrew C. Blume and the precentor is the organist and choirmaster, Dr Richard Porterfield. The rite is that of the Book of Common Prayer (1979), Holy Eucharist, Rite 1, and music for the ordinary and proper of the mass are the traditional Gregorian chants, as preserved in the Liber Usualis. The service was filmed in the Church of Saint Ignatius of Antioch, on 18 March 2020. William C. Blume was technical director and editor.
