Another Time

Another Time (1986, rev. 2025), scored for flute, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, timpani, and strings, was written for the Bedford Symphony (MA) with conductor Samuel Wong in 1986. I was playing the flute in the community orchestra, and was excited to have my work performed. Some forty years later, in 2025, I revised the score. It is a non-ironic pastiche, and simply reflects the music I was then studying in my early 20s. I think the piece might work for high school, college, or community orchestras. It's brief and all the instrumentalists have moments to shine. For contact info, please visit www.geoffreykidde.com.
