The Wicker Man v The Coral (Don't Think You're the First)

The Coral based their first video ('Goodbye') on The Wicker Man using their own actors but I always thought the film better fit this song, whose eerie folkiness with flute trills & horse hooves always reminded me of the pagan May Day parade finale. The British suspense classic still holds up today, unthreatened by the dire 2006 Nicolas Cage remake. RIP Christopher Lee, Lord Summerisle. Edward Woodward, Britt Ekland, 1973.
