Joe Green(Xylophone) & Milt Herth(Hammond) - "XYLOPHONIA"

JOSEPH GREEN (1892-1939) played with John Philip Sousa's band as percussionist and xylophonist soloist from 1915 to 1919. He recorded and performed until his untimely death in 1939. Heard on this REX rpm 9418-A from the ComptonLodgeStudios Archive Collection. A great arrangement of Joe Green's own composition "XYLOPHONIA" with popular/blues Hammond organist MILT HERTH. Original recordings by American Decca. Video uploaded by ComptonLodgeStudios.
