I Found a Lake That Disappears Every Year | Taragtal, Uttarakhand

There’s a lake in the mountains of Uttarakhand that doesn’t stay a lake all year. During the monsoon, Taragtal fills with water and turns into a beautiful hidden lake. But once the water disappears, the same place transforms into green grassland and farmland, where the local villagers grow their crops. Located around 10 km from Chaukhutiya, this lesser-known place was one of those discoveries that made the journey even more special.
