You’ll be able to see a close up on the IKO Slate and how it’s fixed to your roof as the finished product, giving you an idea of how it’ll look on your roof. Plus, you’ll see how the IKO Slate stands up against 170 km/h winds, a blowtorch flame, and an impact resistance test, ending in the IKO Slate coming out on top each time! And if that wasn’t enough there’s even a quick installation guide, so you can be sure you’ll have no troubles when doing your installation. IKOslate is a composite roof tile manufactured from mineral reinforced, 99% recycled and re-engineered materials. Its unique structure gives it superior strength and makes it easier to handle and install. IKOslate has the same aesthetic qualities as slate because moulds of quarried slates are used to form the composite tiles. Each mould imparts different textures and patterns to the tile and its natural look is enhanced by a realistic “slate grey” finish for your roofing system. IKOslates simple yet effective installation process allows the experienced roofer, or contractor without extensive roofing experience, to deliver a sustainable roof, with the look and feel of slate faster and more economically than previously possible. Unlike natural slate, IKOslate can be installed using power tools. Tiles can be nailed down using a hammer or nail gun and they can be cut with a hacksaw or jigsaw, making your life 10 times easier and saves you a significant amount of time. However, no specialist tools are needed and any offcuts are 100% recyclable. Making the IKOslate perfect for any DIY minded person.
