The Secret to Perseverance in Prayer | Month of Our Lady of the Rosary w/ Fr. Anthony Gramlich, MIC

Father Anthony shares wisdom from nearly 25 years as a pastor: "Just show up." Listen to his thoughts on Perseverance in prayer even when you don't feel like it: prayer transforms us. Dr. Jessica Hooten-Wilson from Pepperdine University, Malibu CA, reminds us that reading (like reciting the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary) is a communal endeavour, and not something we should merely do alone. When we lead the Rosary with scripture and meditations, we process language together with the authors of the Bible, with saints across generations, and with the prayers of the Church that we practice and share with others when children and families pray aloud. We also witness the carrying of the Santo Lenho in procession with the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Lady of Fátima, St. Joseph and St. Lucy honoured in Portugal led by Fr. Nuno & the Confraternity. There is still time to join the spirit of the ACN International's 20th anniversary celebration that Pope Leo XIV kicked off on October 1: a week of prayer led by children worldwide and extends through the month of October. At Fátima daily, and especially this coming October 12 / 13, Marian hymns will fill the air around the world as we remember the message of Fátima: pray the Rosary daily. Next, Fr. Elias on Step 5 of Living the Message of Fátima. Key Moments: 0:00 - 4:13 Fr.
