2022 Leadville 100 Run: There Will Be Sorrow

Well, the first 40 miles went pretty well . . . then the wheels fell off. Enjoyed the run with my son, Zach, but we both have some unfinished business. I had a terrible climb up Hope Pass, got caught in the congo line on the back side of Hope and missed the 50-mile Winfield cutoff by 3 minutes. My record drops to 8 wins and 2 losses. Back next year?
