K-9 Vests | Connecting Point | Feb. 17, 2014

Connecting Point visits the Connecticut Department of Correction's K9 Unit and meets the officers and their canines. We learn about what the dogs are trained for and also, how recently they were given 9 bullet and stab protective vests for the canines to keep them safe. Vested Interest in K9s Inc., is an all-volunteer charity whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests for law enforcement dogs throughout the country.
