WHERE THE RARE ONES CALL — Adrian KO8SCA A rock tribute to a great DXpeditioner, operator, and friend — Adrian KO8SCA. Born in Romania and active in amateur radio since his early years as YO8SCA, Adrian carried his passion for radio across the ocean to the United States and became known worldwide as KO8SCA. His journey has taken him far beyond the comfort of the shack — across oceans, remote islands, harsh weather, and some of the rarest DX locations on Earth. From legendary DXpeditions and massive pileups to CW signals fighting through noise and distance, Where the Rare Ones Call celebrates the spirit of adventure that drives people like Adrian to go where very few operators ever will. It is about more than rare DX. It is about determination, friendship, travel, radio, and the moment when a weak signal finally rises through the static and someone thousands of miles away hears: “You’re in the log.” Dedicated to my friend Adrian KO8SCA. 73 from Alex K6VHF Style: Melodic Hard Rock / Arena Rock / DXpedition Rock Anthem Artist: AXNR Song: Where the Rare Ones Call Dedicated to: Adrian KO8SCA Theme: Amateur Radio • DXpeditions • CW • Friendship • Adventure 🎸 AXNR — where radio, science, adventure and music meet. © 2026 AXNRMusic All rights reserved. #AXNR #KO8SCA #AdrianKO8SCA #HamRadio #AmateurRadio #DX #DXpedition #CQDX #CW #HamRadioMusic #RockMusic #K6VHF #WhereTheRareOnesCall #RadioAmateur #DXing
