She was young and eager. New on the job, she was assigned the oldest busses. Often, she couldn't start the bus when cold and had to call for help. Other times, she would finally get the bus started, only to stall along the way and have to pump her foot on the gas pedal to coax the stubborn old engine to life. She didn't mind.
