Heated arguments reportedly broke out between Sarpanchs, Samiti members and MLA Saroj Padhi over various issues. There were also allegations of shouting and misbehaviour involving the MLA’s two sons and supporters. A verbal altercation was reportedly witnessed between the Haridapadar woman Sarpanch and the MLA’s sons. Following the incident, elected representatives reached Asika Police Station and filed a complaint naming the MLA’s two sons and another person. Police have reportedly kept the complaint and started an investigation.
