盆栽の枝の曲げ方│針金を掛けた方向に絞るだけで効く

The key is to twist in the same direction the wire was wrapped. If you wrapped clockwise, twist clockwise; if you wrapped counterclockwise, twist counterclockwise. This keeps the wire pressed firmly against the branch as it bends. In this video, we use 3mm aluminum wire on a Shimpaku juniper sapling. We demonstrate why the second wire naturally wraps in the opposite direction when wiring in pairs, then compare a successful example — twisting in the correct direction — with a failed example where twisting the wrong way causes the wire to gap away from the branch.
