Ace Driver [Arcade Archives 2] (Xbox Series X) | Random Races #1

This is Ace Driver, a 1994 arcade racing game developed by NAMCO. You are looking at the May 2026 release via Arcade Archives 2 from Hamster Corporation. The game features one track, eight different open-wheel race cars (can only be chosen via the settings menu) and three different Racing Classes that consist of Beginner, Expert, and Expert [Pro] Class. I like to consider Ace Driver as a re-envisioning of Pole Position or as a spiritual successor and a surprisingly good one too. One thing that is intriguing about this game was that it overshadowed by NAMCO's most famous arcade racer at the time Ridge Racer, which was released a year prior to Ace Driver.
