In this SolidWorks tutorial, we model a toothed gear rack / link bar based on Section C – Problem 1. This exercise is great practice for CSWA and CSWP exam preparation, focusing on efficient design intent and completing the entire geometry using only 3 features!

• Unit System: MMGS (millimeter, gram, second)
• Material: Galvanized Steel (Density: 7870 kg/m³)
• Overall Length between Centers: 164.00 mm
• Width: 16.00 mm | Boss Thickness: 20.00 mm
• Tooth Profile: 24 Teeth, 2.50 mm height, 2.00 mm top flat, 40° included angle, 6.00 mm pitch
• Boss Ends: 2x Ø7.50 mm through holes, 18.00 mm offset to first tooth
